The Joint VPD System Elbow is a highly flexible 2ply elbow protector which conforms with international shock absorbtion standards.
The elbow protector features a highly efficient ventilation system and an outer fabric which is made with high tenacity polyamide yarns for low friction and high abrasion resistance. VPD is the perfect material for mountain biking as it wraps around a riders body shape when warm which gives great freedom of movement on a bike. Model S-Works Epic World Cup Forward 50 LTD predstavuje tento záväzok pokračovať v ceste vpred vďaka inováciám pre jazdcov. Ako najrýchlejší a najinovatívnejší XC bicykel na svete je Epic World Cup dokonalou platformou. To všetko sa spája v úžasnej grafike. Zlatá farba predstavuje náš 50. rok a to, že naša túžba zlepšovať životy prostredníctvom jazdy na bicykli nestratila ani štipku lesku. Ružová farba pripomína náš historický tím Stumpjumper a naše odhodlanie pretekať s neuctivým, rebelským duchom. Na celom svete je k dispozícii iba 250 týchto bicyklov, ktoré predstavujú dokonalé vyjadrenie prístupu "inovuj, alebo zomri", ktorý Specialized inšpiroval posledných 50 rokov a naďalej nás poháňa do budúcnosti. Je čas zavesiť hardtail na klinec. Epic World Cup je účelový stroj a jeho účelom je vyhrávať. Vyzvali sme sami seba, aby sme sa vyhli konvenčnému chápaniu toho, čo je potrebné na dosiahnutie najvyššej rýchlosti, a túto výzvu sme splnili vďaka netradičnému integrovanému systémovému prístupu ku konštrukcii rámu, revolučnej konštrukcii tlmičov a bezkonkurenčnej jazdnej dynamike. Výsledok? Bezkonkurenčná kombinácia účinnosti, kontroly a ľahkosti. Celok je rýchlejší než súčet jeho jednotlivých častí. MYSLI NAJRÝCHLEJŠIE: Epic World Cup je najrýchlejší pretekársky XC bicykel na svete na hladkých až stredne technických tratiach, a to vďaka bezkonkurenčnej kombinácii účinnosti, kontroly a nízkej hmotnosti. Najlepšie to povedal svetový šampión Christopher Blevins: "Tento bicykel mi dáva všetko, čo by som mohol chcieť od hardtailu, a navyše kontrolu a schopnosti plného odpruženia." Na vytvorenie tohto rýchlostného stroja stačil úplne integrovaný vývojový prístup, vynález nového radikálneho tlmiča a štyri desaťročia zbierania svetových víťazstiev. REFERENČNÝ RÁM: Aby bolo možné dosiahnuť maximálnu rýchlosť vďaka nemilosrdne účinnému prenosu výkonu a precíznemu riadeniu, náš tím konštruktérov stanovil a dosiahol nové štandardy v oblasti torznej tuhosti a tuhosti stredového zloženia (BB). Tento výkon si vyžadoval integrovaný vývojový prístup, ktorý spojil konštrukčne vynikajúce dvojité diamantové usporiadanie karbónu s tlmičom uloženým vo vnútri hornej rámovej trubky a zakončený najdokonalejším kompozitným usporiadaním v histórii značky Specialized. ŠOKUJÚCA RÝCHLOSŤ: Tím Specialized Ride Dynamics vymyslel a vynašiel pre Epic World Cup revolučnú technológiu tlmičov, ktorá vám poskytne účinnosť a svižnú odozvu hardtailu PLUS kontrolu, schopnosti a prenos hybnosti plného odpruženia - to všetko s jednoduchým nastavením. Tlmič SID Deluxe WCID, vyvinutý spoločne s firmou RockShox, využíva jedinečné nezávisle nastaviteľné pozitívne a negatívne vzduchové pružiny, ktoré zabezpečujú vyhľadávaný "záber" hardtailu v kombinácii s odpustnosťou pri jazde v teréne a možnosťou ľahko prispôsobiť nastavenie pre konkrétnu trať alebo doladiť podľa preferencií a pocitov jazdca. Nastavením na pevno získate rýchlu a efektívnu jazdu ako na hardtaile, ale na veľkých nerovnostiach a v zjazdoch sa otvorí. Alebo ho nastavte mäkšie pre jazdu, pri ktorej sa budú drobiť kúsky. V každom prípade nie ste obmedzení iba na "otvorený a zatvorený". Jednoduchá povaha jeho nastavenia vám umožní nastaviť spektrum od pevného po mäkké. NAD RÁMEC KATEGÓRIE: 75 mm zadného zdvihu bicykla Epic World Cup poskytuje kontrolu a schopnosti bicykla s oveľa dlhším zdvihom. Pretože je navrhnutý tak, aby sa s ním jazdilo na hornej hranici alebo blízko nej, poskytuje rovnaký pozitívny zdvih ako bicykel so 100mm zdvihom nastaveným na 25% prehnutie. Prelomový tlmič SIDLuxe WCID poskytuje jedinečnú kombináciu podpory a poddajnosti v zadnej časti, zatiaľ čo tlmič RockShox SID SL s 3polohovým tlmičom Race Day 2 si vypožičal úplne nové ladenie Epic 8 "Magic Middle", ktoré poskytuje podporu pri šliapaní a 110 mm aktívneho odpruženia v nerovnostiach pre zaistenie maximálnej efektivity. ĽAHŠÍ UŽ BYŤ NEMÔŽE BYŤ: S hmotnosťou rámu len 1765 gramov (lakovaný s tlmičom a všetkým hardvérom) sa Epic World Cup vyrovná najľahším konkurentom. To sa premieta do rýchlejšej akcelerácie, efektívnejšieho stúpania a obratnejšieho ovládania - to všetko prispieva k rýchlosti. Pierkovej hmotnosti a monštróznej tuhosti modelu Epic WC sme dosiahli vďaka tomu, že sme použili poznatky získané pri vývoji nášho najľahšieho sériovo vyrábaného cestného rámu Aethos, konkrétne pokročilého kompozitného usporiadania a tvarov trubiek.
